Invoice payment links
Charge the advertised card/electronic invoice total and provide the exact generated invoice PDF on the customer payment page.
850 Payments
850 Payments lets an activated 850 Work business connect its own Stripe merchant account and create secure card payment links for invoices or standalone requests. Customers pay through Stripe-hosted checkout, and 850 Work does not store raw card numbers, CVV values, or bank credentials.
How it works
Built into the workspace
Charge the advertised card/electronic invoice total and provide the exact generated invoice PDF on the customer payment page.
Select any active client or enter a recipient name and email without first creating a new client record.
Review payment volume, pending activity, successful transactions, fees, and merchant connection status in the Payments area.
A successful payment can trigger a private owner email showing the customer payment and the 850 Work platform fee earned.
Transactions remain linked to their payment order and, when used, the invoice snapshot, customer, job, estimate, and technician references.
850 Work uses provider-hosted checkout and tokenized provider references instead of collecting card numbers or CVV values.
Clear costs
The 850 Work software subscription remains separate from payment processing. For payments processed through 850 Payments, the connected business pays Stripe's applicable processing charges plus a 0.5% 850 Work platform fee. Stripe deducts supported fees from the connected merchant payout; 850 Work does not hold the customer's funds.
Payment boundaries
850 Payments is the 850 Work payment experience, while Stripe provides merchant onboarding, hosted checkout, card processing, verification, and payouts. Sensitive provider keys stay in server-side secret storage. Payment events use encrypted metadata, idempotency controls, signed internal requests, signed webhooks, retry queues, audit records, and reconciliation checks.
