Company and founder
850 Work is a service-member-owned software business founded by Zacharyah after a longtime friend needed a simpler way to manage jobs, invoices, and daily work. The product is rooted in Gulf Breeze and Pensacola, Florida, and is available to service businesses nationwide.
Founder story
I grew up with strong ties to Gulf Breeze, Florida, moved there in 2003, and graduated from Gulf Breeze High School in 2014. I currently serve in the Army, with a background in logistics, operations, purchases, and accountability.
850 Work began when my best friend of more than 15 years started a business and needed a practical way to track customers, jobs, invoices, and everyday work. Large field-service platforms often include more complexity and cost than a small family shop needs, so I began building a simpler option.
The name reflects the Florida Panhandle and the 850 area that shaped the project. The software is local in its story, not limited in who can use it. A contractor, shop, or service business anywhere in the United States can create an online workspace.
Product principles
Publish the base plan instead of requiring a sales call just to learn the monthly amount.
Keep the base workspace free from per-seat fees so a business can include the people doing the work.
Support the full path from customer and job to document, inventory, payment, and reporting.
Do not publish fake reviews, invented statistics, unsupported compliance claims, or features that are not available.
Use customer feedback and real workflow problems to guide product updates.
Keep both online access and an offline-friendly desktop path in the product direction.
Customer proof
850 Work will publish customer testimonials, ratings, case studies, and measured results only after receiving genuine customer permission and enough detail to verify the claim.
Planned trust content: verified customer name and business, trade, starting problem, feature used, measurable result, permission date, and an optional customer-approved photo or logo.
