Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account information. Company name, account-owner name, email, password hash, role, billing status, security settings, authentication events, and related account identifiers.

Workspace information. Data entered by a business, such as customers, service locations, jobs, schedules, documents, payments, inventory, files, staff, feedback, and reporting settings.

Connected-service information. SMTP settings, scheduling requests, checkout or subscription identifiers, email delivery status, and other data needed for a feature the account chooses to use.

Support and website information. Messages sent through in-app feedback or email, basic request and security logs, and privacy-focused website analytics such as page views, device category, and referring page where available.

Public website analytics. Public marketing pages use Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET), and Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views, referring pages, approximate location, browser or device category, and interactions such as signup, login, pricing, support, and outbound-link selections. Microsoft UET helps measure advertising conversions and can support remarketing if that feature is configured in Microsoft Advertising. These analytics are not intentionally loaded on authenticated app, admin, customer-portal, API, purchase-success, or payment-workflow pages, and 850 Work does not intentionally send customer workspace records to these analytics services. Google Analytics and Microsoft UET may use cookies or similar browser storage as described in Google's information-use notice and Microsoft's privacy statement.

2. How information is used

Information is used to create and authenticate accounts, save and sync workspace records, generate documents, send requested outbound email, review scheduling requests, activate billing, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain security, diagnose failures, and improve 850 Work.

850 Work does not sell personal information or use customer workspace records to build third-party advertising profiles.

3. Business responsibilities

The business account owner decides what customer and employee information to enter, who can access it, which connected services to use, and how long exported copies are retained outside 850 Work.

• Use individual staff accounts, strong credentials, and appropriate roles.
• Enter only information the business has a lawful reason to collect and use.
• Protect exported backups, downloaded PDFs, desktop data, and SMTP app passwords.
• Do not enter normal Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook passwords when an app password is required.

4. Service providers and disclosures

850 Work may use hosting, database, payment, email-delivery, security, analytics, and support providers to perform requested services. These include Stripe for connected merchant onboarding and payment processing when a business enables 850 Payments, and Google Analytics, Microsoft Advertising UET, and Cloudflare Web Analytics for the public website. Those providers receive only the information needed for their role. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Security and retention

Current safeguards include HTTPS, protected production workspace storage, encrypted sensitive settings, password hashing, secure sessions, role-based access, authenticator MFA, audit records, and account-retention controls. No internet service can promise perfect security.

Records are retained while needed to provide the service, meet security or legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support account recovery or deletion workflows. An account owner should export needed business records before closing an account.

6. Choices and requests

Account owners can update many records in the application, manage team access, export workspace data, and contact 850 Work about access, correction, or deletion requests. Some records may be retained when necessary for security, billing, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.

7. Children

850 Work is business software and is not directed to children. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are not legally able to enter an agreement for the business.

8. Policy changes

This policy may be updated as the product, providers, and legal requirements change. The review date at the top identifies the current public version.
