850 Work uses encrypted network connections, protected workspace storage, secure account sessions, password hashing, role-based access, optional authenticator MFA, and security audit records. Private app, admin, API, customer portal, billing, and download routes are excluded from public search indexing.

Role-based access
Owners can assign standard or custom roles so staff receive access appropriate to their work.
Audit and retention
Security events, account administration, encryption migration tools, and retention controls support operational review.
Customer responsibilities
Security also depends on how each business uses the account
- Use a unique password and enable authenticator MFA where available.
- Give each staff member an individual login and the minimum role needed.
- Remove access promptly when a team member leaves or changes jobs.
- Use app passwords for SMTP; do not enter a normal Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook password.
- Keep exported backups and downloaded documents in a protected business location.

No unsupported compliance claims
850 Work does not claim certification or compliance with a regulated industry standard unless that status and any required agreements are confirmed in writing. Security work is ongoing, and release gates keep unavailable regulated-workflow features out of customer access.
